1424-1428 STANLEY

The project mainly involved transforming the facades and upgrading the interiors of two buildings housing shops on the first floor and offices upstairs.
Stanley Street, which is particularly busy during rush hour, is made up of a number of outdated buildings in need of renovation. One of the owner’s goals was therefore to refresh the facades, thereby restoring the neighborhood’s image, much to the satisfaction of local residents.

The project focused on the design of contemporary architecture, highlighting simple, timeless forms. The new facades are treated differently to distinguish the 2 buildings, but they all reflect the same modern language, focused on maximizing natural light. While the layout of the new openings, with their clean lines and generous dimensions, blends in perfectly with the design of the existing building, it also offers a completely unobstructed view of rue Sainte-Catherine, just a few meters away.
