Design and construction of a new 32,000 square foot industrial building to house a factory and offices.
The building has great visibility from the highway and it was important to the client that the architectural aesthetic project an image of quality. The overall massing is subdivided into smaller volumes, each expressing the various functions of the program, thus providing a smaller, human scale to the whole. The use of awnings and quality materials contribute to the sober elegance of the design. Canopies are designed to reduce the effect of overheating summer, while letting in the low sun in winter. The use of large windows allows for an abundance of natural daylight, which increases user comfort in the manufacturing areas.
