The project involves the construction of a theater located in the historic center of the town of Hudson.
The town has called upon our firm’s creativity to design an expansion of the existing theater in order to revitalize the space and turn it into a true cultural hub.
The goal is to create a “landmark building” that captures the public’s attention while integrating with the existing heritage context.
We therefore opted for a contemporary architectural style, featuring large glass surfaces to bring in maximum natural light and make the building stand out (especially on performance nights).
A key focus during the design process was the use of traditional materials such as wood, which plays a central role in the main façade and is used throughout most of the interior elements.
